Sunny (Li Jia Ping) and her fiance Tao Zhe (Chen Wei Jie) are to marry in the next few months. She is madly in love with him, but her parents are worried that they aren't mature enough for marriage. They also worry about their future financial well-being, because Tao still has not found employment yet. Still, despite some disagreement, Sunny's parents grudgingly agree to the marriage. Next is 26-year-old, Zhou Xiao Yu (Ma Su Ling), a successful lawyer. Her boyfriend of seven years, Yuan Zhi Cheng (Wang Lei Jun) wants to get married, but she refuses his offer due to her busy schedule and career aspirations. He patiently waits for her decision. Lastly is the couple of Li Jing Liang (Tong Yao Hong) and Hu Yi Ruo (Ma Li), both approaching forty years old. They have been married for six years and have a beautiful daughter named Hua Liu Hua (Zhao Ying Wei). However, their relationship is becoming more of a business partnership, rather than filled with romantic love. This drama will focus on the three couples' relationships. It will also show how their sex lives are being affected by the pressure of work and everyday stress. Sunny is pressured by her mother to delay her wedding until they find a suitable house for her to live in after she gets married, while Zhou Xiao Yu has trouble balancing romance with tenderness due to her hectic work schedule. Lastly, Xi Jing Liang has no problem making time for his wife, but feels that their marriage is lacking passion. For being the third installment of the "Forbidden Affairs" series, this series was not as popular as its predecessors. The show only ranked 67th in weekly ratings, with only 7.5% of the audience watching it live. This drama is well received by critics.
